What to Expect at Your First Aesthetic Consultation

Booking a first aesthetic consultation can feel like a bigger decision than it needs to be. Here’s what actually happens — and why it’s less clinical than you might expect.

It starts with a conversation, not a checklist

Most people picture a consultation as a rapid-fire intake form followed by a sales pitch. At Aurora, the first 20 minutes are simply a conversation: what brought you in, what you have noticed, what you are hoping might change (if anything).

You will be asked questions, not sold answers

Dr. Reyes asks about your goals before ever mentioning a treatment. If a treatment does come up, it is framed around what it would realistically do for you, including when the honest answer is “not yet” or “not necessary.”

A plan, if there is one, is built with you

When a treatment plan makes sense, it is explained step by step, including cost, downtime, and realistic timelines. Nothing is scheduled without your explicit go-ahead.

There is no obligation to book anything

Many first consultations end with no treatment booked that day, and that is a normal, expected outcome, not a failed appointment.

Ready for a calm first conversation?

No obligation. Just a conversation.
